Sensory Exploration: Mardi Gras Sensory Play

February 16, 2026

Let the good times roll! In this Mardi Gras–themed sensory exploration playgroup, little ones will explore the sights, textures, and traditions of Mardi Gras through hands-on play. Did you know the Mardi Gras colors have special meaning? Purple represents justice, green represents faith, and gold represents power—and we’ll bring these colors to life through playful discovery.

Children will engage their senses with Mardi Gras beads, masks, and festive materials, and we may even enjoy a special King Cake tasting to complete the celebration. This open-ended sensory play encourages curiosity, creativity, and early learning in a joyful, age-appropriate way.

This playgroup will be held immediately after all Mommy and Me stroller workouts on Monday, February 16. Book your spot in the FIT4MOM app or online at www.northatlanta.fit4mom.com/schedule
