How are we already to December?! We are rounding out the year with our final Mama of the Month for 2024, Megan Guss. This strong, world traveling mama joined Our Village in February of this year, and we are so glad she did!

Tell us about your family: I met my husband Stephen on a trip in Europe 12 years ago. We have since lived in Thailand, California, and New York City. When we became pregnant with our son, Jaime (now 16 months), we knew we wanted to make our way back to Georgia to be close to family. We love spending our time together traveling, playing outside, dancing to old records, and snuggling our two cats, Roger and Lentil.

Tell us something about yourself that would surprise us: I was a biology/ecology major in college and love catching frogs, lizards, and crawfish on our family hikes.

Favorite Must-Have Baby/Kid Product: Baby carriers! I have three different ones. A must have with my Velcro baby!
Favorite Food: Key lime pie
How did you find FIT4MOM? My cousin in San Diego told me about it! I was thrilled to find Fit4mom near me!
What do you love about FIT4MOM? The community! I have met so many wonderful women that have become close friends. We aren't meant to go through motherhood alone and I am so grateful for the friends I have made! I also love getting to see my son make friendships as well!
What does motherhood mean to you? Motherhood means entering a new community with women that you share a special bond with. Being part of a group of women who understand the journey you're going through and are there to offer love and support along the way. Motherhood is having a piece of your heart walk around outside your body. But at the same time being around other women that share that same feeling. This is by far the best chapter of life!
