Mama of the Month: Lindsey Sullivan

This month, we’re excited to feature Lindsey Sullivan, a strong, vibrant mom who has embraced her first year of motherhood with heart, humor, and a love for her FIT4MOM community. 💕

Hometown: Jacksonville, Florida

Current City: Sandy Springs, GA

Preferred Class Location: Chastain Park

A Little About Lindsey:

“My husband, Chris, and I moved to Atlanta about 7 years ago! We got engaged in 2019 and, like so many couples, had to postpone our wedding due to the pandemic. We welcomed our baby boy, Wesley, in April 2024. All of our family is either in Florida or New York, but we’re lucky to get visitors every few months. We love spending our Saturdays exploring different Farmers Markets, walking around Chastain Park, or finding a great cup of coffee and a pastry!”

Current/Previous Career: I taught first grade for 10 years before having Wesley.

Introvert or Extrovert: Introvert

Fun Fact: “My siblings and I are all about a year apart—my sister is 12 months younger than me, and my brother is 18 months younger than her. I never thought anything of it until I became a mother. Now I can’t understand how my mom had three under three (and I ask her all the time lol)!”

Favorite Exercise: Strength training! “I love feeling strong and realized how important it is when you’re carrying a toddler around all day.”

Favorite Must-Have Baby/Kid Product: “I’ve really loved the Lovevery Playkit subscription! I think the teacher in me loves that it comes with a guide for how to play with the toys to help them in each new developmental phase.”

Favorite Food: Mexican food—tacos, fajitas… and margaritas!

How She Found FIT4MOM:

“Just through Google! When I was almost three months postpartum, I still had a fear of leaving the house with my son, but I knew I needed something for my mental health. I googled ‘mommy and me Atlanta,’ and it took me to the FIT4MOM Instagram. They were about to start Chastain classes (just five minutes from our house). I immediately signed up and haven’t looked back since!”

What She Loves About FIT4MOM

“Definitely the community! I know I can always get great mom advice or just vent with no judgment. I’ve loved meeting new friends and watching their babies grow this past year. Everyone is always rooting for each other!”

What Motherhood Means to Her

“It’s the hardest and best thing I’ve ever done. It’s a feeling you just can’t explain or understand until you become a mother. I love the joy that every day brings, watching my son learn new things and grow.”
