This month, we are thrilled to spotlight a mama whose warmth, humor, and honesty brighten every class she attends—meet Erin Schauder, our July Mama of the Month!

Meet Erin

Erin lives in Dunwoody with her husband, Evan, their 2-year-old son Jonah, and their sweet pup Scooby. They’re currently counting down the days until baby #2 arrives—due July 7th! Originally from Atlanta, Erin has called this area home her whole life and has recently transitioned from her role as a teacher to hosting small groups and planning events for families with little ones under age two.

How She Found FIT4MOM

Erin was introduced to FIT4MOM by her friend, Megan Mueller. After a few initial hesitations (we see you, nap time mamas!), she officially joined when Jonah was 15 months old—and hasn’t looked back since. “I owe so much to her,” Erin says. “It took me a while to commit because I treasured nap time, but once Jonah was older, I was all in!”

What She Loves About FIT4MOM

“The support,” Erin says without hesitation. “Everyone is always so kind and cheers each other on. Especially during this pregnancy, I’ve really felt the love.”

You can usually find her working out with us in Dunwoody or Sandy Springs—depending on what they can make it to on time. (We love that flexibility too!)

Her Favorite Things

When it comes to fitness, Erin is a fan of a solid set of squats. And when it comes to food? “That’s so hard!” she laughs. “I guess I’ll say grilled cheese.” She swears by books as her favorite kid product, making story time a staple in their home.

Erin’s Take on Motherhood

“Motherhood is the hardest thing I’ve ever loved—and ain’t that the truth!” Erin says. “I love watching Jonah grow and make progress every day. Each day he learns something new, and I love when he finally catches on to something I’ve been teaching him. He makes me want to be a better person—and reminds me when I’m lacking… like when he repeats cuss words,” she adds with a wink. “I love spending time with him, and I also love nap time and when he goes to bed at night.”

In Her Child’s Eyes

We always love hearing from our FIT4MOM littles, and Jonah gave us some giggle-worthy responses when asked about Mom:

• How old is Mommy? “3.”
• What does Mommy always say to you? “2 or 3.”
• What is Mommy really good at doing? Also “2 or 3.”
• What makes you proud of Mommy? Still… “2 or 3.”

We can’t wait to see what Jonah thinks of Mom when he’s a big brother!
