Welcoming a new baby into your family is a transformational life event that comes with highs, lows and every feeling on the spectrum - many of them at the same time. Becoming a parent changes your relationship to yourself, your partner, your priorities, your career, your family, your friends, and every aspect of your life. Processing these changes with a community of other new parents in a similar stage of life can have a significant impact on a new parent's confidence in herself and help connect her to a community, practical information and helpful resources
Becoming a new mom is a transformative journey—filled with joy, challenges, and countless questions. In Atlanta, a vibrant community of support awaits to help you navigate this new chapter, with multiple ways to meet other new moms in the Atlanta area through mommy and me activities or groups for new mothers and those new to parenting. Whether you’re seeking fitness, friendship, or guidance, these local groups offer a welcoming space for every mom.
FIT4MOM North Atlanta
FIT4MOM offers pre and postnatal health, wellness, and fitness programs for every stage of motherhood. All of our programs were created by moms for mom. At FIT4MOM North Atlanta, we believe in the strength of motherhood. By combining fitness with community, you not only have a chance to bond with your baby while connecting with fellow moms, you also become a part of a bigger village of moms. Beyond workouts, we host a robust calendar of weekly playgroups, music class, mom’s nights out, book club, and special events to foster lasting friendships.
Workouts are led by fitness professionals certified in prenatal and postnatal fitness, with locations throughout the North Atlanta area. Stroller workouts offer the opportunity to bring your baby, and get a great workout suitable for all stages postpartum.
FIT4MOM North Atlanta owner Rebekah Murphy says “The overall happiness and health of a family originates from a mom. When a mom has the support and community she needs for her unique motherhood journey, her mental health is improved. With FIT4MOM, women not only receive tremendous mental and physical health and fitness benefits, but perhaps, more importantly, a village and a support system. At FIT4MOM, we have a saying–"Come for the workout, stay for the community.””
